Word Finder

Level up your ticker spotting skills. Each level adds more issuers and more hidden ETF tickers to uncover.

About the ETF Word Finder

The ETF Word Finder is a word search puzzle built from real ETF tickers and issuer names. Each level pulls from a wider pool of funds, so as you climb you’ll start running into products from YieldMax, Roundhill, NEOS, Defiance, JPMorgan, and other income-focused issuers you’ll encounter again on the screener and comparator.

How to play

  1. Pick a difficulty level and choose whether to hunt for tickers or issuer names.
  2. Click and drag (or tap and drag) across letters in the grid to highlight a word. Words can run forward, backward, vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
  3. Found words appear in the sidebar. Use Hint if you get stuck, or tap New puzzle for a fresh grid.

Why a word search for tickers?

Pattern recognition is half the battle when you’re scanning a long list of income funds. Spending five minutes hunting JEPI, SPYI, QQQI, and SCHD in a grid is a surprisingly painless way to memorise the alphabet soup.

When you’re ready to leave the puzzle, jump to the ETF Screener to look any ticker up, or try the other games back on the Fun Zone.
