Global Dollar (USDG-USD)
Global Dollar is a cryptocurrency stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, issued by Paxos and backed by cash and short-duration US Treasury securities held in reserve under Singapore's regulatory framework. As a fully-reserved stablecoin rather than a traditional dividend-paying ETF, it does not generate yield or distributions, and carries no traditional expense ratio. This asset appeals to cryptocurrency users seeking a stable store of value and medium of exchange rather than income generation.
