Connect Your Brokerage in Seconds

Securely link your investment accounts to Dividend Vision with Plaid or SnapTrade. Automatically sync your ETF holdings, balances, and cost basis — then watch your dividend income come to life with read-only access only. Your credentials are never stored.

Everything you can do once you connect

Linking your brokerage unlocks every dividend tool on Dividend Vision — from automatic income projections to multi-account portfolio aggregation.

Bank-Grade Security

Plaid uses 256-bit encryption — the same technology trusted by Venmo, Robinhood, and Coinbase. Your brokerage credentials are entered into Plaid directly and are never seen or stored by Dividend Vision.

Read-Only Access

Dividend Vision can only view your holdings and balances. We cannot place trades, transfer funds, or modify your accounts in any way — there is simply no path for us to do so.

Automatic Daily Sync

Your ETF holdings, share counts, and cost basis refresh automatically every day. No more manual CSV uploads, no more stale spreadsheets — your dividend income reflects your real, current portfolio.

10,000+ Institutions

Plaid supports virtually every major U.S. brokerage and thousands more worldwide — Vanguard, Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Robinhood, E*TRADE, Merrill Edge, TD Ameritrade, Webull, and many others.

Multi-Account Aggregation

Link as many brokerage accounts as you'd like — taxable, Roth IRA, traditional IRA, HSA, joint, or custodial. Dividend Vision rolls them up into a single, unified view of your total dividend income.

Real Dividend Income

As soon as you connect, Dividend Vision projects your weekly, monthly, and annual dividend income based on the ETFs you actually own — not generic averages or estimates from a spreadsheet.

Two secure ways to connect

Dividend Vision offers two independent connectors so you can pick the one that works best with your broker. Both are read-only and your credentials are never stored.

Plaid

The same connector trusted by Venmo, Robinhood, and Coinbase. Plaid supports over 10,000 institutions with 256-bit encryption and credential isolation — your login info is entered inside Plaid's secure window and never shared with Dividend Vision.

What to know before you connect

Is it really safe to connect?

Yes. Both Plaid and SnapTrade are trusted by millions of users. Your credentials are entered inside their secure window — Dividend Vision never sees, stores, or transmits your username or password. Plaid uses 256-bit encryption; SnapTrade adds SOC 2 compliance and revocable OAuth tokens. Read more on our Plaid & Security page.

Can Dividend Vision trade for me?

No. The connection is strictly read-only. Dividend Vision cannot place trades, move money between accounts, withdraw funds, or modify any setting at your brokerage. We can only see your tickers, share counts, cost basis, and account balances.

What can I do with my data?

Once connected, you can use the full Dividend Portfolio Tracker, see ex-dates and pay dates on the Dividend Calendar, project retirement income, spot weekly cash flow gaps, and forecast distributions across all your accounts.
