Search term logging
When you use the site search bar, we record the search term and a UTC timestamp. This data is anonymous — no user ID, account information, or IP address is stored alongside the search term. Search logs are used solely to understand which tickers and topics are most popular so we can improve the site. The data is stored in Google Cloud Storage and is accessible only to site administrators.
AI Chat (Pro plan)
The DividendVision AI chat feature sends your messages to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Conversations are session-scoped and are not persisted after your browser session ends. No cookies are set by the chat feature. For full details, see the AI Chat Privacy Addendum.
Managing your choices
Your latest decision is stored in localStorage with a timestamp and banner version. You can update your settings at any time.
