Understanding public investor profiles
A public profile brings together information a Dividend Vision member has chosen to share, including a biography, public portfolios, and public activity. Portfolio summaries may show holdings, allocations, estimated income, and strategy labels so visitors can understand the member's stated approach before opening a portfolio.
Profiles are user-generated and are not credentials, verified performance records, or endorsements by Dividend Vision. Figures derived from portfolio holdings use available market and distribution data and can change over time. A profile may omit private portfolios or brokerage activity, so it should not be treated as a complete financial picture.
Research before following
Consider the objective, concentration, time horizon, distribution sources, and risks of each holding. Following a member only surfaces public updates; it does not copy trades. If a public profile cannot be found, it may be private, renamed, or no longer available.
What the displayed information means
Allocation describes the portfolio shared on Dividend Vision, not necessarily the member's entire household exposure. Estimated forward income applies available distribution rates to disclosed positions and can change without notice. Recent activity reflects actions shared through the site and may not include external-account transactions.
When comparing profiles, focus on whether the stated objective, diversification, and risk tradeoffs are understandable instead of using follower counts as a measure of quality. Review dates and portfolio updates to determine how current the public information appears.
Privacy and availability
Members decide whether their profiles and individual portfolios are public. Private, deleted, or unavailable material is not shown simply because another visitor previously had a link. Do not infer investment changes from missing content; visibility may change for reasons unrelated to portfolio activity.
Public content is intended to help visitors understand an approach, not to establish that the approach is appropriate for anyone else. Personal circumstances, account types, and goals can produce very different outcomes from the same set of holdings.
