Yield Research
Explore dividend ETFs by yield range
A fund's yield is the income it pays relative to its price. These lists group ETFs by the distribution rate Dividend Vision publishes. Each ticker identifies its calculation basis, which can annualize regular cash or use trailing distributions. SEC yield uses a separate standardized calculation. How the rates are calculated.
Start with a current distribution range, then compare each fund's strategy, cost, payout frequency, assets, and capital risk before narrowing the list.

Use yield with context
Before comparing yields
Is distribution yield the same as investment return?
No. A distribution is cash paid out; total return also includes price changes. A fund can pay a high distribution while its net asset value declines.
Why can an ETF's yield change quickly?
The calculation moves with both the payout and market price. Variable option income, special distributions, leverage, and falling prices can all change it.
